How much is it to join?

You receive your first month at the special introductory rate of €9.99. This is a subscription service, so you can cancel anytime with 4 days notice.

After the full month is up, this auto-renews at €19.99 each subsequent month and will continue until you decide to stop your subscription.


What are the benefits of joining as a member?

Members have unlimited access to over 100 livestreamed classes each month and unlimited access to our exclusive video library of classes available on the Himalaya Yoga Valley App.  Membership grants you access to our Facebook members hub which has exclusive content, discount offers and discussions with other yogis just like you!


What are the health benefits of yoga?

People get pretty excited about yoga and there are grounds for that excitement! People fall in love with yoga for lots of reasons but basically it makes you feel great- mentally, physically and emotionally. Yoga speaks to the individual on a holistic level through the union of mind, body and breath. Here are some of the reasons people keep coming back to their mats.

How do I access live classes?

Our live classes are hosted through Zoom, so we recommend downloading the App from this link https://zoom.us/download before you book a class.

The links for our live classes come in the online class link email. If you cannot find the email be sure to check your junk mail. Check the date and class on the email and click on the hyperlink to enter and enjoy the class!


Can people see me in the live classes?

You have the option to turn your camera on or off for the live classes. We recommend switching off your camera by turning off the video on the bottom of the zoom App for your own privacy.

If you leave your camera on your screen may appear on the top banner of the zoom call.

Before the class starts, be sure to pin the teacher’s video by clicking on their screen. All participants will be muted, so you can just focus on the class itself.

How to switch off your video:

  • When logging into zoom, you can opt to turn off your video and microphone
  • You can click on the video button on the bottom of the screen and choose “Stop video share” which will turn off your screen.

We will not share zoom recordings of any of the live class videos for your privacy and safety.
If we are sharing recordings, we will let you know prior to the class.


How do I access the recorded classes?

We have a video library of recorded classes on the Himalaya Yoga Valley App, available on iOS and Android. You can watch the videos on your phone or mirror/cast them to your Smart TV using Chromecast or AppleTV.

How can I get the best at Home Yoga Experience?

Our top tips for creating a yoga studio experience at home are:

  • Practice in the same space every day, creating a clear and quiet area where you can fully enjoy your practice. Ensure there is enough space to move around and include some props, like pillows, blankets, blocks or belts for ease of access when you practice
  • Bring a blanket for savasana, so you can feel extra cosy
  • Light a scented candle, burn some incense or enhance your yoga practice with essential oils
  • Cast to a bigger screen to enjoy a full studio experience
  • The optimum volume for our videos is 80%

What kind of classes should I do?

We have classes to suit all levels, from beginners to advanced, yin to Ashtanga. You can check out our full list of class descriptions, and levels they are suitable to, on our Classes page here.


How can I connect to the teachers if I have a question?

Our teachers are available on zoom before and after your class starts, so feel free to ask questions in our chat box. You can also ask questions in our Himalaya Yoga Valley members hub on Facebook, where our teachers host live Q&As and are available to answer any questions that pop up.


I am pregnant which classes can I attend?

If you are pregnant, you are strongly advised to only take Pregnancy Yoga, Gentle Glow and Restore and Revive classes for health and safety reasons of the baby and Mother. Yoga during pregnancy is contraindicated for first trimester. The highest risk for miscarriage occurs in the first trimester, as this is the time of embryo implantation and attachment of the placenta to the uterus. Rest and relaxation is best during this time until energy levels have returned to normal which usually happens during the second trimester. If you are unsure, ask your doctor. Clients who suspect they may be pregnant are strongly advised to seek medical advice before purchasing a Membership. Our priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our clients.


I have a medical condition/injury, can I attend classes?

We recommend that you consult with your GP or physician before attending the class, and get clearance before starting classes with us. You can also talk to the teacher before a class on zoom via the chat function, or email us ahead of time.


How can I use a Gift Voucher for an online membership?

Please contact us via email or webchat with the number on your voucher. If you have an account already set up we can add the balance to your account and activate your membership.


My account says it’s expired when I try to book into a class. What can I do?

Your membership might be pending, and is queued up to start after your current membership expires. You can check the expiration date of your current membership in your profile. You can only book classes while your current membership is active. So if you’re booking outside your expiration date please wait until the next membership period is active.


What if I want to cancel my membership?

Please contact us by email, webchat or via social media and request your subscription be cancelled. You are required to give a minimum of 4 days notice before your next payment is due and then you won’t be charged again.
