Spring has finally arrived and we have the perfect workshop to help you reset and renew your yoga practice!
Ayurveda and Yoga for the Spring Workshop with Viriam
48h Access
An invitation to honour our natural rhythms. Spring is a time of renewal and rejuvenation so we will look at ways to reboot our system through movement, breath awareness practices and conscious eating. We will look at recipes that boost our energy and immunity and I will share a sequence incorporating cleansing breath exercises, simple self-massage techniques and expansive movement.
In ayurveda, it is recognized that we become more vulnerable as the seasons change. As we come into Spring time, it is good to create balance in our lives so that we can stave off seasonal colds. It is also a natural time to detox and rejuvenate. We can spring clean both our inner and outer environments to give us new life. To plant new seeds for good health throughout the year.
Viriam shares the philosophy on Himalaya Yoga Valley’s teacher training programme. She has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2003 and has trained in several breathwork modalities, ayurveda, yoga nidra, mindfulness and restorative yoga in recent years. She recently completed her 300hr in Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation and Mantra with the American Institute of Vedic Studies under David Frawley. Viriam’s teaching focus is to invite her students into a deeper awareness of themselves through movement, meditation, mantra and self inquiry.
Note: This workshop is recorded and the recording will be available for 48 hours.
